The Fero relax chair has been designed for those in need of extra special care and comfort. Designed with hospital care in mind, the Fero relax chair offers many clinical benefits, superior infection control, and has been made to withstand high-use environments. The Haelvoet range is ergonomically designed with high-density foam to promote good posture, pressure distribution, and exceptional comfort.
The Haelvoet range is intuitive and easy for both users and staff to operate. The Fero can be easily adjusted to a user's desired level of comfort and support.
One of the key features of this chair is that it is height adjustable from 455mm and 570mm and the arms can dropdown. This is ideal for those recovering from surgery; assisting transfers, and also accommodates larger individuals. The backrest reclines to a Zero-Gravity position using easy-to-reach handles located on each side of the chair and can be locked at any desired angle. The Zero-Gravity position is a sitting/lying position inspired by NASA data based on a neutral physical position, which transforms all muscular strength into a biomedical equilibrium.
Large 125mm castors and a sliding footplate mean this chair can also be used to transport patients.
